ENGINE SWAPS

Whether you want to do an engine swap because you're after more horsepower or because the old one is worn out and you want a replacement engine HiVelocity Tuning can do it for you. With years of experience working on honda/acura's swapping engines has been a specialty of mine since I first started working on cars.

Please contact me if you are interested in getting a quote for an engine swap. Due to many factors each quote will be given on an individual basis but here is a rough guide as to how much it will cost.

D-series to D-series without having to do extra wiring/converting - $500

D-seires to B-series (extra wiring/converting will be necessary) - $600

B-series to B-series without having to do extra wiring - $600

D-series to H-series (extra wiring/converting is necessary) - $750

H-series to H-series without having to do extra wiring - $700

B-series to H-series (extra wiring/converting is necessary) - $750

B-series to K-series (extra wiring/converting is necessary) - $1000

D-series to K-series (extra wiring/converting is necessary) - $1000

Any price quoted will include all necessary wiring, converting, rad hoses, fittings, oil & filter, coolant, tranny fluid. Any required ECU or ECU conversion harness or parts will be extra and you will be notified of this ahead of time. I've done a lot of engine swaps into different chassis' so I'm very familiar with what is necessary when doing a specific engine swap.

HiVelocity Tuning will not provide engines, transmissions, or complete swaps. If you need or want new axles, engine mounts or shifter linkages it can be arranged but will be an additional cost above and beyond the initial cost of the engine swap.

Its HIGHLY recommended to replace the timing belt and water pump when doing an engine swap. This is much easier, thus cheaper for the customer, to do this while the engine is out of the car. Its also recommended to replace the clutch and to resurface the flywheel when doing an engine swap. This is also much easier, thus cheaper for the customer, to do this while the engine is out of the car. I always resurface the flywheel when replacing a clutch if the same flywheel is to be used, if replacing the flywheel with a lightweight unit resurfacing is not required.

If you'd like me to install a new header, intake manifold, or exhaust system while doing an engine swap on your car we can work out a great deal. If you'd like to know exactly how much power your new engine is making there is a Dynojet on premisis so doing this is quick and easy.

Please contact HiVelocity Tuning with all of your questions regarding an engine swap.
